I first became interested in photography while traveling during college. But it wasn't until my wife and I moved to Chile that I truly realized my passion of documenting the natural world and its people. After being confronted by the immense landscapes of Patagonia and the desolation of the Atacama Desert, it is difficult to act as if nothing's happened to you.

Now living in the Pacific Northwest, I approach landscapes with similar intent. Lugging gear deep into forests, across snowfields and along crashing shorelines, I try to capture those fleeting moments of discovery that happen in the wild.

Much of this has taken a back seat since the birth of my son, who has surpassed landscapes as my favorite subject. Through this diversion from outdoors I realized the joy of studio work, and now concentrate on portraits. I have a couple options for photo shoots:

$150 Photo Session
Includes one photo shoot (studio or outside location) or in the studio plus DVD of high-res images.

$325 Photo Session
Includes two shoots (studio and outside location) plus DVD of high-res images.
